Prices
All prices are based on costs prevailing at the time of quotation
and may be subject to change.
1)Booking Procedure
Once Barcelona Homes,S.L. has confirmed the availability of one of its apartments and has sent a reply
to the client the booking will be affective. When booking, it will be necessary to
clearly indicate the duration of the stay as well as the number of occupants that will occupy the Apartment. Barcelona Homes, S.L.
is entitled to deny an application of a booking without having to justify so.
Should the client cancel a reservation
already made, the client shall be obliged to pay the cancellation
costs in accordance with that stated in paragraph 3 of this Covenant.
2)Method of Payment
The full price/rent for the stay in the Apartment shall be paid by
the client by credit card or cash at the time of arrival at the Apartment.
3)Cancellation
In the event that the client totally or partially cancels the reservation
made, or that Barcelona Homes, S.L. is obliged to do so because of non
payment by the client, Barcelona Homes, S.L. shall be entitled to keep
the amounts already paid by the client as reservation fee.
4)Changes of dates
In the event that the client changes the dates, it will be understood
as a new stay and it shall be subject to the cancellation conditions
stated in paragraph 3 above.
5)Number of Occupants
The client will provide Barcelona Homes, S.L. with the number of persons
that will accompany him/her during the stay as well as with their
names, addresses, telephones and age if requested. Only the persons
indicated by the client when booking shall be authorized to use
the Apartment. The number of persons who may use the apartment may
not exceed the number of persons allocated for each apartment, except
for babies (younger than two years old). Unless expressly authorized,
pet animals shall not be authorized. In the event that Barcelona Homes,
S.L. or any of its agents find out that an infringement of the aforementioned
obligations, Barcelona Homes, S.L., at its sole discretion, will be
entitled to request the client to leave the apartment and the client
shall have no right to claim any type of compensation whatsoever.
6)Check-in and Check-out
The guests will leave the apartment the day agreed prior to 11.00.
a.m, unless the parties have agreed something else prior to the
leaving date. If the guests do not leave the apartment on the date
and time agreed, a penalty will be imposed on the same. If the guest
leaves the apartment at any time between 11:00 a.m and 2.00 p.m
the penalty to be imposed shall be equal to 50% of the daily rent.
Should the guests leave the apartment after 2.00 p.m, then the penalty
shall be equal to 100% of the daily rent.
7)Water, electricity and others.
Unless agreed otherwise, the price of the rent includes all costs
related to electricity, warm and cold water supply and the use of
electrical house hold appliances.
8)Bond (security deposit)
A bond of one night´s rent is required for each booking.
Bond payment may be required either in advance or on arrival
depending on the particular accommodation.
The bond is held by Barcelona Homes, S.L. against any damage
to the accommodation that may result from the occupation.
The bond is returned by Barcelona Homes, S.L. after the end
of the period of occupancy, less the cost of any damages.
This bond will be returned on departure.
9)Complaints.
Barcelona Homes, S.L. shall not be liable for the breakage of the elevator
or for any other inconveniences which are beyond his control. Notwithstanding
the foregoing, Barcelona Homes, S.L. shall do its best efforts to remedy
in a diligent manner any of such inconveniences. In principle, any
of such inconveniences do not entitle the client to claim a reimbursement
for the amounts paid unless the client is obliged to move him/her
self to a hotel while the reparation works take place. In that event,
Barcelona Homes, S.L. will reimburse the client with an amount equivalent
to the rent paid for the days not occupying the apartment. Should
the client have any query during his stay, the host will have to
communicate such query to Barcelona Homes, S.L. prior to leaving the
apartment FOR SUCH REASON. Queries made at the end of the stay will
not be taken into consideration. In the event the client leaves
the apartment without Barcelona Homes, S.L. being informed, the host
shall loose all rights to claim a compensation.
10)Cleaning
The apartment shall be cleaned prior to the arrival of each client
in the apartment. When leaving the apartment, the client will be
obliged to leave the apartment in reasonable conditions of order.
Barcelona Homes, S.L. will be entitled to collect additional charges
in the case the apartment is not left in reasonable conditions.
For an additional price and per hourly rates, the client may request
cleaning services to be carried out more than once per week.
11)Behaviour
The person signing the present agreement will be liable for the
correct and decent behaviour of all the persons accompanying him/her.
Should that person, or any of the persons accompanying him/her not
behave in accordance with normal civic standards, Barcelona Homes, S.L.
shall be entitled to request the client and the persons accompanying
him/her to leave the apartment without the right for the latter
to claim any type of compensation whatsoever.
12)Liabilities
Barcelona Homes, S.L. nor the owner of the apartment shall be liable
for any direct or indirect damages that may arise as a consequence
of the use by the client of the apartment, including without limitation,
damages, insurance, losses because of fires, robbery or criminal
behaviour.
13)Litigation
In the event of any litigation arising from the booking
of accommodation by Barcelona Homes, the Courts in Spain
shall have sole jurisdiction on such arising matters and Spanish
law prevalent at the time shall be applied at the times.
